Jason Boxer for MBUSD School Board
Jason Boxer ran a successful campaign to become the youngest school board member in Manhattan Beach Unified School District history. Jason was elected after a campaign led primarily by young alumni of MBUSD, including myself. Jason’s campaign engaged the younger constituents of Manhattan Beach and encouraged them to turn out to vote for the school board  -- historically, a race that would not draw them to the ballot box. Jason’s campaign spoke to a wide range of residents including the younger electorate and older constituents, gaining them endorsements by the Los Angeles City Democrats and social justice groups alike.
I collaborated with the communications team to refine Jason’s branding: creating an eye-catching color scheme across all materials to reflect the youth and diversity of Jason’s campaign. I created digital and print designs consistent with the branding vision and strategized a communication plan that helped Jason mobilize voters to turn out in support.
